Carleton is undergoing a broad and consultative strategic planning process to design our next Strategic Integrated Plan (SIP). This process is a crucial step in determining the direction of Carleton’s future, because our plans will ultimately become our reality. During the Provost’s Café, you will have the opportunity to contribute your insight, your bold thinking, and your big ideas to the development of Carleton’s next plan.
Led by four collaborative leaders from across the University, the SIP Task Force is collecting feedback, ideas and comments from the Carleton community until the open consultation phase ends on Nov. 8, when they will move into the themed consultation phase. Based on the ideas and comments they gather in the current phase, the Task Force will identify a set of broad themes to allow them to have more specific conversations in the themed consultation phase in November.
Hosted by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic), the Provost’s Café is a semi-annual forum open to all professional services staff in the academic sector (members of CUPE 2424, Administrative Management and Administrative Technical employee groups). It is intended to increase information sharing and discussion about academic-related matters at Carleton.
