The Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic), through Teaching and Learning Services, invites faculty and instructors to submit nominations for the annual Provost Scholar Award. This award (up to two $1,000 awards per Faculty) is given to outstanding undergraduate students who exemplify student engagement by excelling in at least two of the following four areas:
Please visit Teaching and Learning Services for full nomination details. Nominations are due Friday, February 17, 2023. We encourage nominations for students who identify as 2SLGBTQ+, Racialized, Indigenous and students with disabilities.
The Provost will also select one award winner to receive the Peter J. Ricketts Outstanding Provost Scholar Award, valued at $1,700. This award may also be divided between two recipients.
Award recipients will be invited, along with their family members and nominators, to attend an award presentation event in the spring. Thank you for your continued support of this initiative to recognize our students’ accomplishments.
