Interested in Joining the Lab?
We are always interested in hearing from motivated and talented prospective undergraduate students, graduate students, directed studies students, postdoctoral fellows, and students interested in research volunteer opportunities.
Dr. Howard has a special interest in advising prospective students who are interested in learning and applying advanced statistical methods for developmental data analysis. Methods include latent growth curve modeling, multilevel modeling, factor analysis, and data simulation research. Students with interest and/or experience in statistical methods are encouraged to get in touch with Dr. Howard.
Students and fellows in the Lab are encouraged to seek out sources of external funding:
- Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) fellowships for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
- Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) research awards for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
- Ontario Mental Health Foundation (OMHF) research studentships and postdoctoral fellowships
