Danial Dashti Daryan is an MASc student in our research group. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. His research interests include earthquake engineering, performance-based seismic design, and nonlinear modelling of structures, with a focus on concrete structures. He is currently developing a mechanics–AI-based shear hinge model to capture the behaviour of shear-critical concrete elements under reversed-cyclic loading. In addition, he is involved in the “Concrete 3D Printing” project in the CSALT lab, working alongside one of our PhD students, Morteza Mohemmi.
