Israa has been working towards her MASc degree in sustainable energy since arriving at Carleton University in September, 2016. Prior to moving to Canada, she completed her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon.
She has previously worked in the Centre for Collision and Safety Analysis at George Mason University in Fairfax, USA in the field of transportation safety analysis and crash testing.
In her MASc research Israa will be investigating phase change thermal storage systems.
