Kayla Lewry

MASc student

Kayla Lewry began her MASc degree in the spring of 2019 immediately after completing her BEng in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering.  Her BEng included a cooperative work term at Energy Ottawa in which she aided in the city of Ottawa’s streetlight LED conversion project. The focus of her MASc was on a transcritical, CO2 heat pump water heater, which she completed in 2021. Kayla now works at Natural Resources Canada’s CanmetENERGY lab in Ottawa as a project engineer and continues her research on CO2 heat pumps.
