Borna is an avid technology enthusiast, specifically intrigued by all the manners in which space technology can affect us and help better our lives on earth. He got his undergraduate degree from Sharif University of Technology, focusing on orbital and attitude dynamics with a thesis on 3-body dynamics of orbits around asteroids. Now he is turning his attention to space robotics, mechatronics and control at ASRoM-Lab, working on trajectory planning for space manipulators in the process of robotic mitigation of space debris. His research involves inspection of the non-holonomic behaviors due to an initial momentum when the chaser satellite has a motion synchronized with that of the debris.
