I am currently in the first year of my graduate studies at ASRoM-Lab where I am pursuing research in robotic and control systems for space applications. I developed my interest in this research field during my undergraduate studies in aerospace engineering, specializing in space systems, at Carleton University. Specifically, my research deals with the mission design of on orbit servicing missions – in particular examining the novel approach of using a designated parking orbit for servicing satellites to be placed both prior to and following satellite servicing missions – as well as analysis of pre-capture maneuvering of a single robotic arm servicing spacecraft with a non-cooperative target for debris capture and removal missions – specifically the attitude synchronization of the two space bodies to ensure a successful and safe capture.
