Wynonna Smoke is a first year PhD student in Public Policy. She is of Haudenosaunee and settler ancestry. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Wynonna attended McMaster University where she studied economics and economic policy.
Wynonna is currently employed as a Policy Analyst at Employment and Social Development Canada where she works on labour market research in fulfillment of the Nunavut Agreement.
She is interested in Indigenous labour market policy, as well as Indigenous self-governance.
