Adjunct Professor Dr. Velko Tzolov was selected by the Honours, Awards and Fellowships Committee of the Engineering Institute of Canada to be inducted as 2023 EIC Fellow (FEIC) for his “excellence in engineering and services to the profession and to society”.
Velko Tzolov is Director General of Advanced Electronics and Photonics at NRC who has just taken over the leadership of the Canadian Photonics Fabrication Centre. He has been Adjunct Professor with the TIM Program for almost 5 years now and has greatly supported our teaching and evaluation of TIM student projects. Velko has delivered multiple Guest Lectures and plays a key advisory role in shaping the vision of our new Centre for Cross-Border, Digital & Inclusive Entrepreneurship.
