Dr. Viau served as a judge for the PEO Innovation Challenge, alongside Drs. Banu Örmeci, Kamal Hossain, and Reza Foruzanmehr (uOttawa), which took place Sunday September 17th at the University of Ottawa.
Eight projects were presented by students and engineering professionals on the topic of “Creating sustainable solutions for economic and environmental residences”.
Carleton University students Farzam Sepanta (supervised by Dr. Liam O’Brien) and Nolan Duff (supervised by Dr. Scott Bucking) took first and second place in the competition, respectively. Job well done to everyone!
