CLC recently received a $1,400 grant from Alterna Savings, a co-operative financial institution with a commitment to communities and social responsibility. Alterna Savings provides grants to organizations responding to a community need. Visit www.alterna.ca.
A grant of $4,500 was also recently received from the May Court Club of Ottawa, which will be used to replace several self-service washing machines. The May Court Club is the oldest women’s volunteer organization in Canada. Visit www.maycourt.org.
