Math Workbooks for Home Use
The Jump series of workbooks for elementary grades are organized to match the current math curriculum. These excellent workbooks are designed for Canadian parents for home use. These are not simple drill & practice books – tutors use these workbooks to teach the concepts. You can purchase the workbooks at local bookstores or access online ordering through Anansi Press.

Math TextBook Sites
The sites below provide content related to math textbooks frequently used in Canadian schools.
French Immersion: If your child is using an ‘Accent mathématique’ textbook, from Editions Duval , you may find the Thomas Nelson site useful. The Duval texts are translations of the english Nelson math series. The Nelson site provides exercises, lessons and unit tests for every chapter. If you find it difficult to help your child with the French instructions in the text, this site will be particulary useful.
Core English: Thomson Nelson is one of the main providers of Canadian math textbooks for the elementary curriculum. Their site has a Student Centre with ‘try it out’ questions aligned with the book units. The Parent Centre has support for home activities and useful links.
