This website provides information about teaching regulations and procedures for FASS and FPGA instructors, and identifies sections of the Undergraduate Calendar and Graduate Calendar that govern course instruction.
Preparing for Fall 2026 Courses
Course outlines for fall term courses should be made available to registered students no later than September 2, 2026.
September 2: Course outlines for late summer courses must be made available to students
September 9: Fall term courses begin
October 26-30: Fall break, no classes
November 27: Last day for summative tests or examinations, or formative tests or examinations totalling more than 15% of the final grade in fall term undergraduate courses.
December 11: Last day of classes; classes follow a Monday schedule. Last day for final take-home examinations to be assigned.
June 25: Course outlines for late summer courses must be made available to students
July 2: Late summer term courses begin
August 7: Last day for summative tests or examinations, or formative tests or examinations totalling more than 15% of the final grade in late summer and full summer term undergraduate courses.
August 14: Last day of late summer and full summer classes; last day for final take-home examinations to be assigned.
If you plan to use e-proctoring for online exams, you must indicate this on your course outline. For more information on e-proctoring, including fees, please consult the SES e-proctoring webpage.
If you plan to use Scheduling and Exam Services that have fees or incur a charge, you must obtain approval from the chair/director of your unit.
