The Institute of African Studies is delighted to celebrate Emily Hersey who graduated from the collaborative MA in Anthropology with a specialization in African Studies and has been awarded the Canadian Anthropology Society (CASCA) award for most outstanding graduating Master’s student of 2020-2021 with an MA in Anthropology this last year at Carleton University.
Each spring, the Canadian Anthropology Society (CASCA) recognizes the top graduating students in university and college anthropology departments across the country. Emily’s MRP was selected in the MA category on the basis of excellent quality.
