Join AllianceFrancaise for an exceptional evening in partnership with the Institute of African Studies at Carleton University. Experience Kora Flamenca II, where Zal Sissokho and Caroline Planté blend their musical worlds in an unforgettable concert.
Following the success of Kora flamenca (winner of the Félix Award for World Music Album of the Year at the ADISQ and the Canadian Folk Music Award for World Tradition Album of the Year), Zal Sissokho and Caroline Planté once again merge their two musical cultures: Afro-Mandingue music and flamenco.Kora Flamenca II features 10 new songs, equally composed by the two artists. Through their music, Zal (kora and vocals) and Caroline Planté (flamenco guitar and vocals) invite you on a vibrant journey, born of their unique collaboration.
