Dr. Hossain meets with a team from the Department of Public Works of City of St. John’s and delivers a presentation on “Sustainable Pavements and Winter Road Maintenance for Newfoundland” on March 23, 2018.
Dr Carlos Bazan, a professor of civil engineering at Memorial and Dr. Hossain’s PhD student Surya Swarna also attend and contribute to the meeting and technical discussion that has led to initiating a collaborative research project on “Investigation and Development of Improved Asphalt Mixture Specification for Pothole Repair” and “Sustainable Winter Road Maintenance” with the City.
