Dr Kamal Hossain is featured in Paving the Way on February 3, 2021 in the Memorial University Gazette for his collaborative research aimed at improving asphalt performance in Newfoundland. In this project, Dr Hossain and his team work with the City of St. John’s and Mitacs to develop improved asphalt materials suited to the province’s harsh climate and traffic conditions.
The research focuses on reducing pavement issues such as rutting and moisture damage, helping improve road durability and overall driving conditions in the region.
