Omega Malisa

Omega Malisa is a 2nd year civil engineering student at Memorial University, and she is expected to graduate in April 2022. Currently, she is working on a research project entitled “Effect of Autonomous Vehicle and Connected Traffic System in Highway and Pavement Design” under the supervision of Dr. Kamal Hossain.
Omega believes that having a radiant personality, curious mind, highly inspired and motivated to achieve is not only good but also the efforts work best. Along with her school work, she has a great interest in volunteering at different places and has gained most of her research, communication and writing skills from it.
Omega’s interest in engineering is inspired by her family and her wish to move around the globe for helping people. Also, with a strong hardworking mind, ability to work as a team player, easy adaption to environments, and commitment enabled her to adopt new skills and explore different experiences.
