Ontario Remembrance Scholarship

Carleton University has been provided one (1) dedicated scholarship to be awarded to a student pursuing an undergraduate-level program of study, based on demonstrated financial need and merit, which includes academic achievement and leadership demonstrated through extra-curricular activities and community involvement. The scholarship is valued at $10,000 for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this award students must:

  • be enrolled and studying full-time in any undergraduate degree (minimum 4.0 credits over fall and winter terms)
  • have a CGPA of 9.0 or better
  • demonstrate financial need
  • have demonstrated leadership qualities through significant extra-curricular activity and/or community involvement

Ontario-Ukraine Solidarity Scholarship

Carleton University has been provided four (4) competitive scholarships to be awarded based on financial need and merit, which includes academic achievement, community service and/or perseverance of dedication to their education, to full-time students impacted by the Ukrainian conflict and students impacted by other conflicts. The scholarships are valued at $10,000 each for the 2023-2024 academic year only (i.e., cannot be deferred to a later academic year).

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this award students must:

  • be enrolled and studying full-time in any undergraduate degree (minimum 4.0 credits over fall and winter terms), or be completing a post-graduate degree on a full-time basis.
  • have been directly impacted by the ongoing Ukrainian conflict, or by another conflict
  • have a CGPA of 9.0 or better
  • be physically present in Ontario
  • demonstrate financial need
  • demonstrate merit, including academic achievement, community service, and/or perseverance of dedication to education
