Scholarships

Carleton University awards scholarships tenable at the University, in the Fall/Winter session of the year of offer to entrance and in-course full-time undergraduate students who have demonstrated a high potential for university studies. The intention of the scholarship policy is to recognize, attract and provide incentives for excellence.

Awards for Indigenous Students

Bursaries

A bursary is a monetary award that is granted on the basis of financial need. Like scholarships, bursaries are awards that do not have to be repaid. However bursaries are different from scholarships because they are awarded based on financial need rather than academic achievement. The intention of the undergraduate bursary program is to supplement, not replace, students’ primary sources of funding such as OSAP, government student financial assistance from another province or loan funding from a financial institution.

There are a number of Carleton University awards and financial aid options available to entering and current students with a permanent disability who are registered with the Paul Menton Centre (PMC).

Dean’s Honour List
