November is Financial Literacy Month (FLM). FLM is coordinated by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) and encourages organizations from the public, private and non-profit sectors to collaborate and promote the financial well-being of Canadians. At Carleton, the Awards Office and CUSA are celebrating FLM with a variety of on-campus events, special blog posts, and social media fun.
This year’s FLM aims to help Canadians achieve the following goals:
- manage debt wisely;
- save for the future; and
- understand their rights and responsibilities.
FLM 2016 at Carleton will focus on these themes and pay particular attention to the specific financial challenges post-secondary students face.
There are no upcoming events scheduled at this time.
