The speaker Millan Mulraine, Economic Strategist at TD Securities asked why the crises have been so different and what this means for prospects of recovery. Prior to the lecture, Mulraine spoke to Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue’s Helen Morris about the financial and housing sector problems, the responses from governments and policymakers and whether authorities on both sides of the Atlantic could learn lessons from each other.
