Monika Griefahn, former Minister for Environment of Lower Saxony, Germany spoke to Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue’s Helen Morris about the policy framework required to support sustainable architecture. Griefahn was brought to Carleton University by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung for the 2010 Idea Contest and Workshop  entitled Young Leaders for Future Cities: Constructing sustainable environments and relations held on October 25, 2010.
