This policy brief explains the core aspects of the Europe 2020 Strategy, the European Union’s ten year economic and employment plan. It will discuss the priorities of the plan, with greater focus on research and education policies, and the ideas on which these goals are based. After assessing the issues and implications of the Strategy for Europe, this brief will consider the implications for Canada.
