The international conference “Street Politics in the Age of Austerity: From the Indignados to Occupy,” was held at the Université de Montréal on February 21, 2013, with support from the Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue (canada-europe-dialogue.ca/).

In this interview, Dr. Cristina Flesher Fominaya of the Department of Sociology, University of Aberdeen discusses the Indignados movement in Spain and traces its movement continuity from the global justice movement.
