The Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue (CETD) welcomes you to a panel – “Policy Innovation in Multilevel Governance: Canada and the EU Compared” – at the Canadian Political Science Association’s (CPSA) Annual Conference at the University of Ottawa in June.

The panel will feature CETD scholars, sharing their latest research:

  • “Between deadlock and innovation: Constitutional policy in Canada and the EU,” by Dr. Arthur Benz (Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany)
  • “Comparing Canada and the EU – modes of governance and policy coordination in two different multilevel polities,” by Drs. Amy Verdun and Donna Wood (University of Victoria)
  • “Policy Regime Dynamics in Multilevel Architectures: Patterns and Mechanisms in Canada and the EU,” by Dr. Jörg Broschek (Wilfrid Laurier University)
  • “Pathways to Policy Innovation in Canada and the EU,” by Dr. Grace Skogstad (University of Toronto)

The panel will be held on June 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in room “Vanier VNR/2095” at the University of Ottawa (for directions please refer to this campus map)
