The Centre for European Studies is pleased to host the policy workshop, “EU Partnership with Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia: Prospects for Reform with Implementation of the EU Association and Free Trade Agreements,” at Carleton University.
This workshop will examine the status of and revisions to the EU’s Eastern Partnership policy since the Ukraine crisis. A particular focus will be to assess progress in the implementation of the important association and trade agreements reached in 2014 between the EU and the key partners: Georgia, Ukraine, and Moldova.
The workshop will feature scholars and researchers from Canada, Europe and Eastern Neighborhood countries who will discuss: the EU’s Eastern Partnership policy; implementation of association and free trade agreements with Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia; and obstacles and prospects for reform in Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.
