The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Research in Germany invite social scientists in Canada and Germany to take part in an Online Research Networking Event taking place May 10-21, 2021.
“The Social Sciences and Climate Change” is aimed at faculty and postdocs from the social sciences whose research work intersects with aspects of climate change.

About The Event
This event will bring together academics from Canada and Germany with the goal of:
- connecting scholars to colleagues with similar research interests;
- fostering collaboration in research, teaching and experiential learning opportunities for students;
- providing information on funding programs in support of research-related mobility, research projects and other collaborative activities;
- presenting Best Practices in social scientific collaboration between scholars in Canada and Germany.
This event is offered at no charge to participants and will be of greatest relevance to faculty at German and Canadian universities, postdocs (including those working as sessional lecturers) and researchers at publicly-funded institutions.
