Genevieve Guenther is the founding director of End Climate Silence, a volunteer organization that pushes the news media to start talking about the climate crisis with the urgency it deserves. Her next book, The Language of Climate Politics, is forthcoming from Oxford University Press.
Gal Beckerman is an author, senior editor for books at The Atlantic, and former editor of the New York Review of Books. His recent book, The Quiet Before: On the Unexpected Origins of Radical Ideas, discusses the influence of social media on social movements.
