Seniors for Climate, has their National Day of Seniors Climate Action on October 1st, 2024.
This event is being organized by Seniors for Climate Action Now – Ottawa, (SCAN) the Ottawa Chapter of The Council of Canadians and, Grandmothers Action Network of Ottawa Gatineau (GRAN). The Ottawa group will be meeting Oct. 1st, from 1 to 4pm at Knox Presbyterian, 120 Lisgar at Elgin St, for a few surprises, musical guests and an informative and impactful round table discussion.
This will be a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and discuss ways to make a positive impact in our city and on our planet. Let’s work together to create a more sustainable future for our youth. Get informed, motivated, inspired and energized! See you there! If you arrive early at 12:30 or so, you will be treated to a fun surprise. Doors open at 12:45 to check in people who pre-registered. Seating is first come, first served.
