“We, at Ecology Ottawa, are excited to announce the creation of the EcoYouth Ottawa Program. This initiative is our response to the growing eco-anxiety among young people and our belief in the power of local environmental action. Our goals include engaging youth in local environmental solutions and deepening environmental knowledge. We’re committed to nurturing environmental leadership and resilience among our youth.

Key objectives of our program include the development of a diverse youth council, training youth to lead educational workshops, fostering school garden projects, and increasing knowledge of local environmental action. We are reaching out to youth aged 16-23, to join our volunteer program.
