Presenter

Leah Zhang-Kennedy, Lecturer,  University of Waterloo Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business

Abstract

Ever wonder how you can create professional, unified, and interesting layouts without a background or formal training in design? Whether you want to make an attractive presentation, build a prototype, set up your resume, make a poster, create a personal webpage, or format your term paper, design is embedded into many things we do. It is my goal that after you attend this workshop, you will have a more concrete and clear understanding of design and be able to apply the basic principles in your personal and professional work.
