Data Science Remembers John Reid
The Institute for Data Science mourns the untimely loss of John Reid, President and CEO of the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA). Mr. Reid graduated from Carleton with a Master’s degree in International Affairs in 1978. He went on to become a prominent national advocate for advanced technology. Mr. Reid chaired a panel discussion on Authoritative Data: Rethinking Data Regulation at Data Day 5.0 last year. He passed away suddenly on June 24th.
