Data Day 5.0 Graduate Poster Competition

On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, the Carleton University Institute for Data Science will hold its 5th annual Data Day in the Richcraft Building. The event will feature presentations by Carleton researchers and industry professionals, a panel discussion, and a graduate student poster competition.
The Institute encourages graduate students from across the university to participate and take advantage of this opportunity to meet and network with data science and data analytics researchers and practitioners. The posters will be adjudicated by an outside panel and there will be prizes for the top three posters.
Deadline for abstract submission (1 page maximum) is Friday, May 18, 2018. Poster competition guidelines are found here.
Students who were in DATA 5000 and COMS 5225 this past Winter 2018 term and already had their posters judged are ineligible to participate.
