Jaymie is a third-year Health Science student with a concentration in Global Health. Growing up and working in a small town in northern Canada, she has gained first-hand experience of rural infrastructure and healthcare. Motivated by a passion to address systematic barriers, she hopes to bridge gaps identified in Canadian healthcare.
Her work in the Spatial Determinates of Health Lab revolves around investigating eHealth development in rural communities in collaboration with stakeholders locally and abroad. Sticking to her roots, she hopes to continue to advocate for those living in rural areas.
