Congratulations to Dr. Monia Mazigh for winning the 2021 Ottawa Book Awards prize for French-language fiction. Dr. Mazigh, Adjunct Research Professor in Carleton’s Department of English Language and Literature, won the prize for Farida, a novel about a woman’s struggles with patriarchal systems in Tunisia.
