Congratulations to Prof. Dana Dragunoiu, whose book Vladimir Nabokov and the Art of Moral Acts (Northwestern University Press, 2021) has been awarded the Brian Boyd Prize for Best Second Book on Nabokov. The judges found this “to be a brave, creative treatment of ground well-prepared by earlier scholars interested in the ethical side of Nabokov” that “brings readers to a significantly enriched understanding of Nabokov’s moral and ethical concerns, and the traditions he draws from in engaging them.” Bravo, Prof. Dragunoiu!
