Carleton’s English Literature Society invites you to a poetry workshop with In/Words editors!

Doug Dumais, A.M. Kozak, and Justin Lam will teach you how to get your poetry ready for publication.

For many, preparing a poem for publication can seem a daunting task. We are here to show you just how easy it can be. In/Words editors are each published and accomplished poets.

Our goal in this workshop is to teach the basics of editing to polish that poem you’ve always wanted to submit. We will teach editing for strength, for rhythm, and for clarity. We will then give tips on how to submit to ensure the best chance of being published.

Refreshments will be provided.
