Mòshkamo | Indigenous Arts Festival | SEPTEMBER 11-29, 2019
Kevin Loring, Artistic Director of NAC Indigenous Theatre, and Lori Marchand, Managing Director of NAC Indigenous Theatre lead the procession of elders into the NAC to open the Mòshkamo Festival and launch the inaugural season of Indigenous Theatre.
A birch bark canoe on the grounds of the NAC, the unceded territory of the Algonquin Nation, symbolizes the presence of Indigenous people and arts at the launch of the inaugural season of Indigenous Theatre.
