Kagiso Lesego Molope is the author of four novels: Dancing in the Dust, The Mending Season, This Book Betrays My Brother and Such a Lonely, Lovely Road. She is the winner of several awards, including the 2019 Ottawa Book Award. She has for the past four years been a nominee of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
