We are hiring graduate students for working on several projects including profiling environmental contaminants in the agri-food systems, green methods for food authentication, and point-of-need sensors for food packaging (intelligent packaging).
Eligibility of applicants:
- Applicants should have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree in Food Science, Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Computational biochemistry or other closely related fields;
- Be highly motivated, open-minded, and passionate in interdisciplinary research;
- Be self-disciplined and adaptive to fast-paced learning and research environment;
- Have good teamwork skills and communication skills (both written and verbal in English);
- Previous benchwork experience in food analysis, spectroscopy, microfluidic, metabolomics, toxicology, machine learning, and/or bioinformatics is preferred but not mandatory;
- Successful applicant(s) are expected to start early 2025 or later.
