Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Ottawa due to ice pellets and freezing rain expected overnight on Tuesday, April 4 or early morning on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, continuing for much of the day before temperatures rise above the freezing mark.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
The university remains open. Operations will run as scheduled.
Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
