Fleur Esteron is a PhD Student in the Communication & Media Studies Department at Carleton University. She holds a M.H.Sc. in Nutrition Communication and a B.A.Sc. in Nutrition and Food from Ryerson University. After graduating from the M.H.Sc. program, Fleur was the Research Assistant in both the School of Professional Communication and the Centre for Studies in Food Security at Ryerson University. Her research interests examine intersectionality, representation, and alternative discourses as spaces of power and resistance within food systems.
