Lalla Maiga

Lalla Maiga is a 4th-year Communication and Media Studies undergraduate student at Carleton University, pursuing a minor in Law. Lalla is interested in the role of food in identity construction. She believes that food is a tool we can use to share the uniqueness of who we are. While originally from Mali, she lives in Peterborough, ON, and has a six-month-old son. Being an extroverted introvert, you can find Lalla binge-watching Downtown Abbey on Netflix, hanging out with friends and family or cooking a new recipe. After graduation, Lalla hopes to grow into a role that honours inclusion and representation.
