Every year, a group of students in the Bachelor of Global and International Studies (BGInS) program travel to Belize for the Experiential Learning Abroad course (GINS 3200), a hands-on classroom experience taught by a Carleton professor. Last May, they traveled to the Aguacate Mayan community to work with farmers on a GPA mapping exercise of their land.
