The FISHES project—Fostering Indigenous Small-scale fisheries for Health, Economy, and food Security—returned to Gjoa Haven, Nunavut this winter to continue research on food insecurity in Canada’s North.

Led by School of Pubic Policy and Administration Professor Stephan Schott, the project is funded by $14.4 million in funding from Genome Canada.
