Bagels and Banter is a monthly opportunity to discuss shared research and teaching and learning topics with faculty members in a relaxed setting. Learn about new topics, teaching methods and potential research collaborations.

Bagels and Banter is open to all faculty members and FPA graduate students.

October’s topic “Preparing for Research with Indigenous Communities” is presented by Frances Abele (School of Public Policy and Administration).

Frances Abele is often approached by other non-indigenous scholars who would like to work with Indigenous communities and organizations.  In this session she will describe the approach she has taken, with an emphasis on current conditions and the engagement and training of graduate students.
