Petra Hohenstein completed a double major in Greek and Roman Studies and Theoretical Linguistics. She spent her undergraduate exploring her fascination of historical linguistics, doing an independent study in her last year on the evolution of the Latin language.

While studying the Classics, Petra found she was baking sweets in her spare time more and more often. This led her to apply to baking programs. She is now studying the boulanger and baking art at the Nova Scotia Community College. She hopes to eventually combine her love of the ancient world with her love of baking through her own business.
