Here you’ll find the the observations and reflections of Carleton students undertaking archaeological fieldwork around the world in the summer of 2024. This year, students are gaining archaeological training and experience at field schools in a variety of different contexts and countries: at several sites in Italy and Greece.

Through the Greek and Roman Studies Program at Carleton, they can also gain course credit towards their academic degrees in many different departments.

Over the course of their field program, each student is asked to write two blog entries about their activities on site and you can read more about them here (a tab at the top for each student).
